Acne might be one of the most annoying and stressful thing one might deal with. It doesn't just affect your overall appearance, but you might find your confidence to face other people dragging down. All because of those pesky breakouts!
So here are 5 ways to get rid that acne once and for all!
1. GENTLE CLEANSER
Be cautious in purchasing products to put in your skincare routine. Invest products that doesn't contain harsh chemicals.Cleansers that give you that stinging and tightening feeling afterwards can be bad for you. It will strip away the all natural oil that our skin produces--which our skin need--thus, making our skin think to produce more oil instead, leading to breakouts. Spare a minute to scrutinize the ingredients.
I really recommend to you Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser For All Skin Type. This product don't have that tons of ingredients. It doesn't break me out or irritate my skin and it keeps me hydrated! I've been using this for a year now, and I don't regret it.
2. ALWAYS MOISTURIZE AND PROTECT
You might think putting moisturizer will make your already oily face oilier. It's not. It prevent and treat dry skin, and holds water in the outermost layer of skin. Moisturizing is a great way to balance the natural oil in your face.
By far, my favorite moisturizer is the Celeteque Hydration Facial Moisturizer. I have a review about it here.https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=5033362834022344599#editor/target=post;postID=130001116220836579;onPublishedMenu=allposts;onClosedMenu=allposts;postNum=1;src=postname
Protect. Always and never forget to apply sunscreen. Our skin is our first protection, and it is exposed to external risk in our surroundings. If you have acne, exposing in the sun can leave your pimples dry and hard to treat. It can also make them leave scars and hyper pigmentation!. So invest a suitable sunscreen with high SPF value.
3. TRY OIL CLEANSERS
Yes, you heard it right. Oils to your face. Trust me, it. will. not. make. you. oilier.
The notion behind this is that like dissolves like. Your water-based cleansing might be not effective in cleaning those oil-clogging dirt in you face as water dissolves water, and oil dissolves oil. Yep.
The product I'm currently using right now is the Human Nature Gentle Cleansing Oil.
I suggest you read this article from buzzfeed about oil cleansing. https://www.buzzfeed.com/alisoncaporimo/oil-cleansing?utm_term=.syzKP5xorp#.jl4KO1AdDQ
4. DRINK WATER
I will not list here the thousands of benefits and reasons why you should drink eight or more glasses of water everyday, because come on, it's water! But I'm certain for one thing, it will help you clear that bumpy, red face you're tired of.
5. KNOW THE THINGS YOU PUT IN YOUR FACE
Sometimes, the products you think can treat your acne can be the main culprit of why you keep on having acne. The thing is, people use a lot of products which contain a lot of pore-clogging ingredients. Make sure your make up and skincare products contain labels in their packaging that says non-comedogenic--which means it doesn't clog pores--and fragrance free.
